Leonard G. Paul Family Health Center located inside of the UPG Diagnostic Pavillion provides a full range of family medicine including acute care, chronic pain management and preventative medicine for children, adults and geriatric patients, as well as prenatal care. The LGP physicians share a philosophy that care should be humanistic and patient-centered. The staff and physicians work together to provide a pleasant atmosphere for high quality health care and learning.
There is a mixture of managed care, Medicaid/Medicare and Carelink patients of all ages and ethnicities. The majority of patients speak English. At this site, students are supervised only by Family Medicine faculty physicians, many of whom also teach in the clerkship didactics. Students at this site will have the opportunity to see a good amount of primary care dermatology.
